FINAL DAYS

Família,

això s'acaba i aviat ens tornarem a veure tots per terres Lleidatanes. Els últims dies han passat ràpid, no tenim vídeo per mostrar-vos ja que ens els vam passar fent activitats. L'Ian i el Pere van anar a classes d'equitació per la tarda, desprès del seus campus, i la Cris i la Núria van anar a fer una passejada amb la seva mare per Killarney. El divendres, l'últim dia dels camps, vam anar a gaudir d'una representació que ens van fer en forma de festival la Nurieta, el Pere i la Cris (que estaven a l'Starcamp). Va ser genial! sorry, no us podem penjar vídeo doncs hi surten altres nens. Aquest us l'ensenyarem en privat! i res, així es va acaba la nostra setmana, hem gaudit moltíssim i ja fem plans per tornar l'any vinent! si algú més s'apunta ja ho sap!!!!!! 

moltes gràcies per anar-nos seguint, ha estat un viatge compartit. Petons a tots i totes!!!!

Family,

this is over and soon we will see each other in Lleida. These lasts days have gone by fastly, we don't have any more video to show  you because we have spent them in activities. Ian and Pere have gone to horse riding lessons after their camps in the morning and Nuria and Cristina have gone shopping and walking around Killarney. On Friday, we attended a beautiful show, NUria, Pere and Cris were amazing! we can not show you the video here because there are other kids, this one you will see it privately. 

And that's how the trip finishes, it has been amazing, we have enjoyed it a lot  and we are already planning to come next year. If anyone else wants to join us.... ! 

Thank you all for following us, it has been a shared trip. Lots of kisses for everybody!!!

DAY 17- CRAG CAVES + treasure HUNT

Eii...

bé, el viatge ja s'ha acabat però us devem aquests dia com a dia final. Estem a dimarts, i avui amb un sol radiant 😅 ens hem ficat dins una cova, no ho acabem d'atinar això! XD!!! la cova prometia molt però si has estat a les del Drac de Mallorca, aquesta queda una mica en ridícul. La visita bé però no gens espectacular. Els nostres bandolers esperaven veure algun que altre rat penat i ni això, tots amagats. Una granota o un gripau va ser tota la fauna que vam observar. 

Un cop feta la visita, ens vam anar a casa on li teníem preparada una sorpresa a la Cristina ja que era el seu sant. Vam preparar un Treasure Hunt amb pistes per aconseguir el seu regal, obviously, tot en anglès. Ella i el seu team, format per la Núria i el Pere, ho van aconseguir? haureu de mirar el vídeo per saber-ho...jeje..enjoy!!

Eiii..

the trip is over but we owe you this day as final day. Today it's Tuesday and while the sun in shining we have decided to go and visit a Cave, not exactly the best day isn't it!? XDDDD... The cave was good but not great, if you have already been in the caves of Mallorca, this is really ridiculous compared to them. Our little heroes wanted to see some bat and it wasn't possible, the only animal we have seen is a frog. 

Once the visit has been finished, we have headed home where we had a little surprise for Cristina, today is her saint. We had prepared a treasure hunt, she had to find the clues with the help of her team, composed by Nuria and Pere. Have they succedd? you will have to check it on the video....

DAY16- GAP OF DUNLOE

Avui sí! 

Avui hem fet la nostra 1a experiència totalment IRISH. Que vindria ser XOPAR-TE FINS AL MOLL DE L'ÓS. 😝😝😝😝 I com? doncs molt fàcil. Planifiques el dia abans que aniràs a veure el Gap of Dunloe, que el tens al costat de casa i que no pot ser que encara no l'hagis visitat. Et plantes al Gap quan apareixen els primers núvols i pagues un viatge amb cavall i carro al Gap quan comencen a caure les primeres gotetes. A partir d'aqui, ja us ho podeu imaginar! es diu mullar-te fins els calçotets. 

El banc on ens vam asseure estava moll, ens va voler tapar amb un plàstic que estava ple d'aigua i ens va caure tota a sobre, i vam estar cavalcant per la pluja amb paraigües que no podíem aguantar i els cavalls que anaven a tota llet per tornar aviat! si amb això li sumes que no es veia res de res per la boira i la pluja doncs ja tens la 1a pringada del viatge! per postres, el Pere junior ens anava relliscant i teníem la porta del carruatge oberta, la padrina Agustina aguantava al Pere amb una mà i amb l'altra el paraigües... un xou! guay, no? jajajaja. Ja us en podeu riure, ja. 

DAY15- Beara Peninsula

Hola família!,

Ja hem arribat al segon diumenge. Avui ens hem decidit per una altra ruta, l'anella a la península de Beara. Està a unes 2h de casa però ha valgut la pena perquè el paisatge canvia totalment del que havíem vist fins ara. A veure, aclarim, és igual de verd, hi ha muntanyes i costes i platja i direu? on està la diferència? doncs que és més rocós i les muntanyes diferents. No sé com explicar-ho! jajaja

Res, la ruta ens ha durat tot el dia, hem vist el pas de Healy i les muntanyes de Caha. Hem passat per Adrigole i hem parat a dinar a Castletownbere, on hi ha un dels ports persquers més importants d'Irlanda. Un cop dinats, hem continuat fins a la illa de Dursey on hi hem accedit a través d'un funicular. Ei... top tecnologia amb el funicular XD! jajaja (no era vell ni res... jajaj) quin vértig. La Núria però s'ha indignat quan un cop hem baixat s'ha enterat que també hi transportaven les cabres i les ovelles (ecssshhh). 

Hi family,

We are on our 2nd Sunday in Ireland. Today we have decided to visit another part of this wonderful island: the Beara Peninsula. We have done its ring and eventhough it is 2h away from  our house, it has been worth it because the landscape is totally different. Well, it is green, with mountains, rivers and coasts and beaches  but differently! jajajaja 

So the journey has lasted the whole day, we have seen and crossed the Healy Pass and the Caha mountains. We have been through the villages of Adrigole and we have visited and have lunched in Castletownbere, where it is the most important fishing ports in Ireland. Once we have had lunch, we have followed our route towards the Dursey Island. We have accessed it through a Cable Car, a high tech cable car (XD! jejeje), it was so old and dirty.... Nuria really has got upset when she has discovered that the cable car was also used to transport goats and lambs from the island to the peninsula. (eccsshshs).

DAY14- Blasket Island+boat safari

Hola de nou!,

aquí estem al 2n cap de setmana que passem a Irlanda. Aquest cop el temps ens ha respectat i el nostre vaixell ha sarpat! rumb? la illa de Blasket això sí, passant a saludar al Funghi, un bonic dofí que viu a les costes de Dingle i que es passa el dia donant la benvinguda als vaixells de turistes. 

El nostre capità, el Billy, ens va explicar 1000 històries de les costes de Dingle, com l'armada Espanyola hi va desembarcar i com la van derrotar els anglesos, la història d'uns pobladors de galícia, com es van construïr les cavitats a les roques, la vida marina: vam veure puffins (uns ocells-patitos molt simpàtics que només pots veure en aquestes costes, les foques, les balenes, etc....Tot plegat va ser el 'viatge de la meva vida' paraules textuals de l'Ian! jajajaj

El vaixell que vam escollir era un SPEED BOAT, anava molt (però molt) depressa, trencant les onades i això per ells va ser el més divertit. Ja us ho podeu imaginar!!😅😅😅😅

Ens va deixar 3h a la illa de blasket, no vam tenir temps de visitar-la perquè van veure la platja i el mar i s'hi van tirar de cap, literal! es banyaven amb les foques per la vora, increïble! el paisatge, al·lucinant i en definitiva, l'experiència BRUTAL!  Altament recomanable si passeu algun estiu per aquest wonderful país!

Hi again!,

here we are on our 2nd weekend in Ireland! This time the weather has respected us and our boat could sail on Saturday. Where to? Blasket Island! but, we have seen many, many other things: Funghi the dolphin, seals, Dingle coastline, etc...

Our capitain, Billy, was very nice and he had many stories to share with us: stories about the Armada Española, the Galician citizens, about the rocks formation and many others. We also met THE PUFFINS, small water birds only seen in these coasts!, It was 'the trip of my life' according to Ian JAJAJA

The boat we picked was a SPEED BOAT, it went incredible fast on the water, that was definitely the funniest part of the trip, you can imagine it! 😅😅😅😅

He left us 3h in Blasket island, we couldn't visited it because the kids just watched the beach and they flew to it. They could swim with seals on their sides, it was incredible! a part from that, the landscape, so lovely, and the experience, so worth it! we highly recommend you this experience whenever you visit this wonderful country!

WEEK 2- different activities

Week 2,

Ei family and friends, this has been our 2nd week in Ireland. We haven't done much because Cris and Ian have attended a camp in the mountains and they have come back, everyday, around 18.00 that's why we haven't had time to do anything during the afternoons. 

Let me explain you that Ian and Cris have attended a wonderful camp! it's called Cappanalea outdoor activities and they have learnt: kayaking, canoeing, trekking, orienteering, raftbuilding, backwoods, etc... it's been amazing! Ian had an accident the 1st day and he hurt her mouth while rock climbing. He was a little bit scared of activities after that but he has completed the week and at the end, he has enjoyed it a lot! 

Meanwhile, Nuria and Pere did their first camp as well. Ejem, ejem.... let's say we haven't been so lucky with them, they are too young and they got stressed because they didn't understand anything. Luckily, there were two kids from San Sebastian (Basque country) and they took care of them  during the week. 

We are going to show you some pics of the spare activities we have done some days of the week (National park...). Enjoy them! 

2a setmana,

Ei amics i família, hem acabat la nostra segona setmana d'activitats a Irlanda. No hem visitat massa coses perquè l'Ian i la Cris feien un campus a les muntanyes i ens tornaven cada dia a les 18 de la tarda, això feia impossible fer res durant les tardes. 

Deixeu-me que us expliqui que el campus que han fet l'Ian i la Cris ha estat espectacular, es diu Cappanalea Outdoor activities i han après a fer un munt de coses: anar amb kayak i canoa, treking per la muntanya, construïr una balsa, supervivència al bosc (encendre foc, fer una cabana), escalada, etc... s'ho han passat pipa! l'Ian es va fer mal el primer dia a la boca, va pegar contra una roca i es va espantar molt però per sort, al final ha anat recuperant la il·lusió pel campus i s'ho ha passat pipa!

Mentrestant, el Pere i la Núria han fet també el seu primer casal a Irlanda. Ejem.. Ejem.. diguem que amb ells no ha estat tan fàcil, ens ploraven alguns dies perquè no entenien res XD! pobrets, sort que hi havia una parella de germans de San Sebastià (el País Basc) i els han ajudat un munt, anaven tot el dia darrera seu.. jajaja...

Us mostrarem algunes fotos i vídeos de la setmana i algunes activitats que vam fer per les tardes, bàsicament, Parc Nacional. Hi ha tant per veure!

DAY 8- AQUARIUM

Sunday,

Ok, today it has been plan B. We were supposed to go on a boat in Dingle and we were supposed to see dolphins, whales and some seals on a nearby island. None of this has happened because of the weather. So, we were in Dingle, 1h journey and we had to think a plan B. It was raining, (our first day of rain) so the plan was THE AQUARIUM, they wanted to see animals so... no other option. It was nice but not great!

Diumenge, 

Ok, avui hem tingut que fer el pla B. En teoria havíem d'haver anat en un vaixell per les costes de Dingle a veure dofins, balenes i algunes foques en una illa de la vora. No hem pogut fer res de tot això per culpa del temps així que ens hem inventat un pla B. Estava plovent, (el nostre 1r dia de pluja) i el Plan B havia d'ésser interior així que com que volien veure animals hem acabat a l'Aquarium. Ha estat bé però gens espectacular. Aquí teniu algunes fotos, avui no tenim vídeo, sorry. 

DAY 7- Ring of Kerry

Saturday,

Ring of Kerry. Of course my friends, we are living in Kerry and it's compulsory to complete this route. The famous Ring of Kerry so worth to do it. We did it on Saturday and it was amazing, we discovered castles, forts, beaches, mountains, lakes, everything was so beautiful and the kids? yes, they did enjoy it because in between we did battles, we threw stones in the water and we played with some goats! You will see everything in the video below, hope you enjoy it!

Dissabte,

la Ring of Kerry. Clar que sí amics, estem vivint a Kerry i no podia falta la volta a la Ring of Kerry. Una visita indispensable. La vam fer el 1r dissabte i és espectacular. Vam descobrir castells, forts, platges, muntanyes, llacs tot tan impressionant que no podem explicar-ho, s'ha de viure i veure! i els nens? sí, s'ho van passar pipa perquè entre els paisatges vam poder fer guerres, cursa de pedres i fins i tot, jugar amb cabres. Podreu veure tot això i molt més al vídeo que us hem preparat. Esperem que us agradi!

DAY 6- Ross Castle

Friday,

it's Friday! and this means Cris and Ian are finishing their soccer camps and Pere and Nuria are doing their last riding lesson. Buf... it has been  5 days non-stop of activities so Friday was meant to rest... no way! we have gone and visited the National Park again, this time we have gone around the Ross Castle, it's so beautiful that we are sure you will like the pictures. 

Before going there, we have made another stop because we wanted to see where Ian and Cris are attending their next week camp: Cappanalea outdoor sports. And yes, it is going to be in the middle of nowhere: they have seen their canoes and the lake where they are going to go kayaking, the mountains they're going to explore and the sorroundings. Well, next Monday we will see how it goes. By now, just enjoy with today's pics.

DAY 4- 1st National Park day

Here we are again, sorry for the delay, we are so full of activities that it's almost impossible to update this blog. We will try to do it during the weekend, eventhough, we have it all plenty of activities as well XD!

Wednesday in the morning, nothing special or different happened, Cris and Ian have attended the soccer camps and Nuria and Pere their riding lessons. In the afternoon, though, we have wanted to visit the National Park so we have gone there for a couple of hours. We have played in a playground and then, we have walked a little bit for the park, the game has been to try to find a very special bird, the hereon (or something like this). We have heard it several times but we haven't been able to see it so, we will need to come back again and see if we are a little bit more lucky

Dimecres,

Aquí estem de nou, perdoneu el retard en l'actualització d'aquest blog però és que no ens dona temps ni de descarregar les fotos amb totes les activitats que fem durant el dia! XD

Bé, avui el que hem fet pel matí ha estat el mateix que cada dia, la Cris i l'Ian han anat al campus de futbol i la Núria i el Pere a les seves classes d'equitació. Per la tarda, però , hem variat una miqueta i ens hem animat a fer la 1a visita al Parc Nacional. Hem trobat primer un parc amb columpios i quan ens l'han tancat, hem fet caminadeta per dins el parc. El joc que ens hem inventat ha estat el de trobar un ocell una mica estrany que es deia Hereon (no sé ara com es pot traduir), el cas és que l'hem sentit però no hem estat capaç de veure'l per tant, s'hi haurà de tornar!

DAY 3- Cliffs of Moher

Tuesday,

One of the things we did, for sure, wanted to see where the amazing Cliffs of Moher.  So, today, after picking up Cris from the soccer camp (Ian wasn't feeling too well), we headed towards them. It has been a 3 hours journey, a little bit far but it has been worth it! The cliffs are amazing, it has been a really good day to visit them because of the weather, no wind, no cold... just a sunny day and a clearsky. We have packed dinner and this is way we have had dinner in a wonderful open air restaurant! 😍

The only negative part, we have arrived home around midnight and it has been an exhausting day! Anyway, we will rest tomorrow so enjoy with the images and  video! 

Dimarts,

Una de les coses que volíem fer, segur, durant la nostra estada és visitar els Cliffs of Moher. Així que avui, desprès de recollir la Cris del futbol (l'Ian no es trobava massa bé), ens hem dirigit cap a ells. Ha estat un viatge de 3h , una mica llarg però ha valgut la pena! Els penya-segats són sorprenents i hem escollit un dia fantàstic per a visitar-los perquè no feia gens de vent i estava despejat. Ens hem emportat el sopar i així ha estat com ens hem vist sopant en un restaurant a l'aire lliure i amb unes vistes increïbles! 😍

La única part negativa ha estat arribar a casa passada la mitja nit! quin agotament!! però bé, ja descansarem demà! disfruteu amb les imatges i els vídeos que us deixem...

DAY 2- soccer camp + horse riding

Monday,

Our busy week is starting!, today Cris and Ian have started their soccer camps and Pere his first riding horse lesson. 

It's been a lot of fun when we've met again and Cris and Ian have explained us their adventures with the coaches and their mates because of their lack of English!, It's going to take a while to get used to the accent and the language but we are sure they will be successful!

ON the other hand, our little Pere has done his 1st riding horse lesson, OMG, you should have watched it, it was so amazing, he has enjoyed it so much. He has learnt how to 'kick and tell the horse to walk on', he has learnt how to go right and left, how to 'tell wooo and stop it'! he has even done some balance poses on the horse, I don't need to even tell you how much he has liked it! And finally, our little Nuria has helped us to buy some groceries in the store and then, we have gone and visited a farm to ask if they held some activities for kids during the week. I think Nuria will try the horses tomorrow! 😊

Dilluns,

La nostra súper setmana està començant!, avui la Cris i Ian han començat els seus camps de futbol i el Pere la seva primera lliçó de horse riding.

Ha estat molt divertit quan en anar-los a recollir la Cris i l'Ian ens han explicat les seves aventures amb els entrenadors i els seus companys i les aventurilles per culpa de la seva falta d'anglès! Trigaran un temps a acostumar-se a l'accent i al llenguatge, però nosaltres estem segurs que se'n sortiran! 

D'altra banda, el nostre petit Pere ha fet la seva primera lliçó de cavalls, OMG, l'hauríeu de veure, ha estat al·lucinant! li ha agradat tant!. Li han ensenyat a "donar patates i dir-li al cavall que caminés",  a anar a la dreta i a l'esquerra, com "dir-li que pari" i fins i tot ha fet una mica d'equilibri sobre el cavall! Ja us podeu imaginar lo flipat que estava! XD I, finalment, la nostra petita Núria ens ha ajudat amb la compra, després hem anar a visitar una granja per preguntar si tenien alguna activitat per a nens durant la setmana, hem anat a l'oficina de turisme i per la tarde, jugant per casa. Crec que la Núria intentarà els cavalls demà! 😊

DAY 1- exploring

Hi family and friends!,

today has been the great welcome! the rest of the family arrived in the morning directly flying from BCN, I was waiting for them in the airport and from that moment one, nobody stopped. They were so excited!: they explored during the journey home (looking for: horses, cows, purple houses, picnic zones, stoned bridges, etc..), they explored the house and they explored the sorroundings, we've done an excursion to the Gap of Dunloe. The scenery is amazing and also our neighbourgs! XD, we have lost our drone twice, the last time we needed help and everybody was there! here we have some images that explain the adventures!

Hola família i amics!

avui ha estat la gran retrobada, la resta de la família arribava, aquest matí, directes des de l'aeroport de BCN. Jo, els estava esperant a l'aeroport i des d'aquest moment, ningú ha parat. Estaven súper emocionats, no callaven i no paraven d'explorar: durant el trajecte a casa (buscant ponts de pedra, cases violeta, vaques, cavalls, ...) en arriba a casa i pels voltants. El paisatge és al·lucinant (hem fet una excursioneta al Gap of Dunloe) i també les veïns. Entre moltes altres coses, hem perdut el drone dues vegades, una (donant-lo per perdut desprès de buscar-lo més de 1/2h) l'hem recuperat dins un camp d'ovelles! XD i l'altra, estava a sobre una branca a més de 4m d'altura! Tothom estava allí per ajudar. Aquí teniu un petit vídeo que explica l'aventura.

here we are again, and YEP! Ireland it is! què estrany, no? Irlanda una altra vegada :-), 😋 La Iolanda té un passat Irlandès, segur!

és entrar en aquest país i li canvia la cara... bé, aquest cop hi ha novetats, el Pere (pare) s'ha quedat a la plana de ponent i hem marxat solets, els nens i jo, ens acompanyen l'Agustina i la Elisa amb les nenes, serà una festa!

El primer post és exclusiu de Iol, doncs porto dos dies voltant per França, he agafat un ferry i m'he plantat al ben mig de la Irlanda més bonica, estem a Killarney, al comptat de Kerry i no us podeu ni imaginar lo xulo que és! intentarem apropar-vos a aquesta terra amb les fotos i vídeos que anirem pujant, seguiu-nos! com sempre, d'aquesta manera, estarem prop vostre!!!
